It's difficult to know how to write about short story collections - but I have now read both of Penelope Gilliatt's, so I need to post about them for completeness sake. She was a film critic, and wrote short stories which have been brought together in these two collections. I quite enjoyed dipping and out of these - they tend to deal mainly with relationships - but I didn't find them especially compelling or memorable.Both published just the once with original green covers.
